SHAPE REPLICA OF BISHOP RICKEL'S PECTORAL CROSS made by Nancy Denmark
TCRR 6 IMPRESSIONS OF NATURE PECTORAL CROSS

Impressions from alder leaf, feather, fern, cone, and seashell, measures 4" long (w/out bale) X 2.25"

The cross shown has sold and will be worn by Bishop Paul Bayes at St Albans Abbey & Cathedral in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. This is the oldest site of continuous Christian worship in Britain. It stands over the place where Alban, the first martyr, was buried after giving his life for his faith over 1700 years ago - more than 200 years before St Augustine arrived in Canterbury.

This shape and size replicates the pectoral cross I made for Bishop Rickel, but each has unique impressions and Bishop Rickel's includes a sailing ship from the diocesan seal.
