This is a digital print of an original piece created by Nancy Denmark using the ink and paper from the page of a National Geographic magazine and Citra Solv. The application of Citra Solv wets and lifts the inks from the magazine page allowing the artist to manipulate the inks to create her own original images on the magazine page.

Inspired by autumn colors while vacationing in the New York Adirondacks, Nancy returned to create her own autumn leaves in Texas. Selecting specific magazine pages with colors of red, orange, and yellow, the artist laid green leaves picked from her yard into the wet inks to create leaf imprints with the experimental process. The altered magazine pages were then scanned to the computer and edited for pleasing compositions, and digitally printed, signed, and matted.
