Bead groupings are by Polymer w/ Glass Focals, Polymer w/ Gem Focals, Long Lariats, Short Bead Strands, Unique Beaded Creations, Watches, Prayer Beads, and Wearing Ideas. The images here will lead to these galleries. (Pearl strands can be found in gallery of Pearls & Beads)
Order by color scheme name. Any color scheme you see in one grouping can be ordered in another style such as short, lariat, or watch. While the actual necklace shown may have already sold, I repeat popular color schemes and try to keep them in stock. I may not change the image on the website to show the current one available. Polymer bead shapes and the particular variety of beads used will vary from strand to strand making each one unique and one of a kind. Most people ordering beads by color scheme are happy with what they receive and I don't mind getting particular specifications as to dominant colors, gems, or bead shapes you prefer when you place an order.
All my beaded necklaces come with matching earrings included in the price. Ear wires are usually a hypoallergenic colored niobium, sterling silver, or 14K G/F. When ordered without earrings I reduce the price by $10. Clip earrings may be ordered for an additional $15. Clasps, extenders, and earrings are always made with quality metal findings of sterling silver, 14K G/F, or niobium. I do not use any base metal or pewter findings and beads that tend to turn the skin green. I want all my jewelry to have a long life, to be enjoyed for years.
more about my beaded creations...
The polymer clay beads started as a by-product of other things I was making. I would take the bits and pieces of leftover clay scraps and roll them into beads. These days I put a little more thought into color schemes and the number of beads needed for a strand when making the beads. I marbleize most of my beads with at least several colors of clay twisted and rolled together; some are solid colors with interesting textures. The handmade clay beads set the color scheme for the bead strands. Eventually I struck a cord and found my rhythm with the variety of textures, shapes, sizes, and colors strung into each strand. As an old time purist of making only "fine jewelry", I struggled with mixing gemstone beads with glass beads but found that was exactly what I needed to achieve the sparkle, color, variety, and interest I wanted each strand to have.
