The finishing work of the rough castings is crucial to the quality of the final product that will have my signature on it and my reputation behind it. I do all the finishing work on my pieces. It requires time consuming, repetitive, and dirty processes to achieve quality results. I've learned to turn the rote processes into times of meditation and prayer. When the negative thoughts enter, I try to turn my thinking around and pray for the individuals who will eventually wear the jewelry.
