Sterling Silver on Mesquite
I was commissioned to make this processional cross by St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Dallas Texas using the design I created for their 50th anniversary jewelry. This cross is used as a secondary processional cross. The Mesquite Cross was crafted by David Petersen of Austin, TX and I made the symbolic embellishments from sterling silver.
The symbolism is explained with the last image in this gallery.
The jewelry crosses can be found as
H51 in symbol jewelry.
