CLAY BEADMAKING & STRINGING

This gallery shows my bead making process working with polymer clay. These images show how I made the feature beads for my "Brights On Black" color scheme necklaces.

My beaded creations usually combine these handmade polymer clay feature beads strung with a variety of gemstone and glass beads. I hand make the clay feature beads, setting the color scheme for the piece. I select the gem and glass beads while stringing the necklace, resulting in a spontaneous rhythm of color, shape, and texture while rendering each creation one of a kind. A typical lap tray arranged for a beading project is shown at the end of this gallery.

Here's a link to my finished polymer clay beaded creations.
