The loop has been added to the top and the model is ready for casting.
The next step requires turning over weeks worth of work to the "lost wax" casting process where this original form gets burned out leaving a void for the molten metal to fill. If anything goes wrong at this stage, it can all be lost.
Trust and faith in the process is now required.
After the casting process there is much hand finishing work necessary to bring it to a high polished finished piece. Steps of the finishing process can be viewed in the "Processes" Gallery.
