SCULPTING A WAX MODEL
WAX CARVING INTRO
Initially I carve a model out of wax. Some waxes are hard that require sawing and filing and other waxes are soft and can be applied when molten on a hot tool and then sculpted and carved.
The photo shows a large block of hard wax with some of the tools I would use in the wax sculpture process.
